More Hazards More Heroes
New album, who dis!
Hazards came back strong with their second record and needed a refresh to help promote it. I paired old archive photography with each individual track with fun and unexpected results.
Challenge
The first Hazards site was a great success, getting lots of attention of inspiration sites and lots of people contacting me asking for a similar site.
For their followup album, I wanted to create a new experience that went deeper into the music. I paired each song with a unique vintage photo that tried to capture the essence of the story while showcasing the amazing lyrics.
Outcome
The sequel to the hit site for Hazards was a great learning experience for me. Because I didn’t properly communicate with the band and explain my vision, giving them a chance to offer feedback and shape the direction, they were surprised by my design decisions and didn’t feel like it represented their new album.
