GoNoodle

Bringing GoNoodle home

With the success that GoNoodle for Teachers has it was time to start creating fun things just for kids, including projects such as letting kids design their own Champlings and a launch-day-ready tvOS app.

Challenge

We proved that teachers and students loved our app in the classroom, but what about success when the kids went home? Bringing GoNoodle home meant a whole new set of challenges and questions to be answered.

At the time, it was still a newer practice to show passwords by default.

Explorations of the Champ metagame.

Early exploration of an iPad app that encouraged exploration and play.

Concept for a “locked Champ” feature that we later released.

Unused map concept that would unlock new locations in addition to new levels for your Champ.

We were launch-day-ready for the Apple TV!

Outcome

To spearhead the push to bring GoNoodle home, our team was proud to be a day-one app on the Apple tvOS app store, and we watched in awe as our dashboard reflected the growth of our platform in a whole new medium.
